Final waking time

The time Amber got up for the day, after any early toilet trip followed by a return to bed.

The chart uses the final waking time rather than earlier toilet wakes when Amber returned to her crate.

Confinement and self-settling

One column per day, showing how the recorded time was divided.

Minutes

Open crate or playpen use counts as self-settling. Overnight sleep, car travel, daycare and untimed intervals are excluded. Gaps are not zero.

Walking and human-directed biting

Walking time is shown as bars; distinct human-biting incidents are shown as a line.

Walking totals include only explicitly timed walks. Repeated bites during one continuous incident count as one episode; object, furniture and lead biting are excluded.
